TAPKO's Review of Light & Building 2024

At Light & Building 2024 in Frankfurt, which took place from March 3rd to 8th, TAPKO Technologies GmbH presented itself alongside many other leading manufacturers of KNX building technology.

Over 151,000 visitors from 146 countries attended the fair.

TAPKO's booth in Hall 9.0, Stand E15, was particularly impressive with the presentation of many new KNX devices. The level of attention from the visitors was anticipated to be high, but the detailed interest of the booth visitors even surprised the TAPKO trade fair team.

The introduction of the new 'Slim-Line Devices' was one of the highlights and demonstrated TAPKO's commitment to functionality and space-saving design. These newly interpreted classic devices in the 1-unit (1SU) format not only optimize space on the DIN rail but also offer enhanced features for improved performance and versatility.

Furthermore, TAPKO Technologies showcased its universal Modular System, known for its flexibility and scalability in building automation. This system allows for effortless expansion and adaptation to KNX applications.

Other innovations include the minimalist KNX presence detector for ceiling installation and the KNX motion detector for wall mounting, which blend seamlessly into any architectural environment. The 55 Series, known for its minimalist push-button design and ultra-thin profile, and the KNX Touch with touch-sensitive surface, set new standards within the TAPKO portfolio. These products offer a variety of options for OEM customers, including the Inlay-55 option for integration into almost all existing 55-mm systems.

The new TAPKO Touch Display, which fits perfectly into almost any 55-series frame program, is expected to be a real highlight for TAPKO OEM customers. The technology and interface of the display integrate excellently with the series from other manufacturers. OEM customers can also customize the functional design.

The proven TAPKO portfolio of KNX system devices is now expanded with the introduction of sensors, switches, and displays to the market, providing TAPKO OEM customers with further options for their expansion. The sales launch of new products can be inquired about from TAPKO experts upon request.
