From person to person: A reunion of friends, customers and KNX enthusiasts
With around 93,000 visitors (according to Messe Frankfurt), it was probably not the strongest Light + Building in terms of numbers, but in a positive sense it was a reunion for everyone after the cancellations and postponements caused by the pandemic. As exhibitors, the TAPKO team had good discussions with colleagues and customers. There was always enough time for technical and advisory discussions at the TAPKO booth. For us, one thing has been confirmed, says Petar Tomic, "Online trade fairs are good for staying in touch with the inner circle of KNX manufacturers and doing something for your own branding, but in the long run, the better contacts between people in real conversations, through emotional getting to know each other and direct technical discussions will still be the more successful way".
TAPKO KNX exhibition in the focus of different target groups
The exhibition of the TAPKO performance and product portfolio and its further development in the last 2-3 years met with great fascination and interest among the trade visitors. The still relatively new influence of the SECURE theme and the ETS6, the TAPKO exhibition team presented with further product features on the current KNX devices. For the first time at the fair, the new 2-in-1 device "MECps640" - the fusion of a line coupler with a power supply, in a 2TE narrow housing.
The focus of the presentation was on OEM devices, OEM performance options and benefits, as well as a live OEM customer example in the form of Apricum d.o.o. who exhibited together with TAPKO for the first time at the fair. Visitors who came to the TAPKO booth to learn about the OEM business and sales model were now also able to order immediately available Apricum devices at the fair for the first time. These devices are already appreciated by KNX professionals, planners and installers and are actively offered in the wholesale trade.
