This year, KNX members showed a variety of products to meet the needs of different users.
Touch screens were again highlight products of many members, as well as modular products such as controllers, sensors, dimmers and gateways, of course with the uniform KNX standard. In recent years, the concept and standard of KNX Secure (KNX Security) has also developed significantly and is increasingly being incorporated into manufacturers' device portfolios. This further developed KNX standard offers a high level of data security and IP security and can be easily achieved in projects by using devices with security functions.

The modern security concept of today's KNX building automation already starts with the communication stack of the device manufacturers and the use of KNX Secure devices with security-optimised firmware. The German company TAPKO (OEM Equipment Manufacturer), a member of KNX China, is at the forefront of KNXSecure products. At this fair, TAPKO introduced KAIstack, the basic system software for security solutions and KNX Secure devices, a very efficient security development platform. KAIstack-secure makes it relatively easy to implement KNX Secure in any newly developed device, allowing for flexible handling and easy addition of features or functions. Over the years, TAPKO KAIstack can easily be adapted to additional requirements, implementations, etc. The latest innovative modular structure offers advantages over other protocol stacks. It is also convenient to extend the use of existing KAIstacks (including those with completed applications). Application developers need little additional development effort when implementing KNX-Secure with KAIstack. On the other hand, the configuration of KNX Secure is not complicated for users and requires little additional effort compared to the conventional KNX system.
