Tapko organises donations in cash and kind for those in need
"And suddenly the war has come to us too!", says Petar Tomic together with Klaus Adler, Managing Director of TAPKO Technologies GmbH.
What had happened? In the large network of the Regensburg-based tech company there are friends of all nationalities. When people near to the company report about the great suffering in their home countries, also live, so to speak, about relatives who are still in the Eastern European country affected by the war, it is important to act.
And so they inquired directly through these Ukrainian contacts what was really needed on the ground to alleviate the plight of the people somewhat. The entire TAPKO team organised the purchase of goods such as blankets, bandages, baby food etc. with a considerable donation. All these goods were then prepared for transport to Ukraine where they could be distributed to those seeking help.
